Xerces incorrectly accepts the following document

<test xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
      xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation='test.xsd'>x</test>

as being valid wrt to the following schema

<xs:schema xmlns:xs='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema'>
 <xs:element name="test">
  <xs:simpleType>
   <xs:restriction base="xs:string">
     <xs:pattern value="x{2147483648}"/>
   </xs:restriction>
  </xs:simpleType>
 </xs:element>
</xs:schema>

(the code doesn't address integer overflow at all)
