[Bug 3806] Build scripts renames host to --fqdn when run as root

So that is how that happened!!  I built and tested SpamAssassin as a regular
user, but then re-ran make test as root to see if the 'uname: not super user'
message would go away (it did).  Sometime later I found that the hostname
had been changed to '--fqdn'.  This is Solaris 8 on a SPARCstation-20.
