   @lidavidm Looking further at the cookbook, I think there's a lot of work needed to get C# started there. [We don't even have the API docs up for C# yet.](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-9406)
   
   I mostly worked on this to learn about the Flight protocol and because I had previous experience writing services in C#; I don't plan on focusing on C# long term.
   
   I'll keep this as a PR to add these examples to the main GitHub. But if we get more contributors to C# I hope we can move these examples to the cookbook.
