Re: IPv6

Marty,

I know some folks in Europe are using v6, but I'm not sure to what degree. We haven't started looking at it yet, but we will at some point.

Subject: IPv6

So.. The subject says it all.. :) to a degree.

Has anyone used/using IPv6 in Cloudstack and based on the support docs, It has to be a /64? I can subnet to say a /109?

Marty Godsey

Let me know how it goes. I have a /48 assigned to me so I can easily divide it into /64s I just have been running into issues actually putting in ACS.

This what I posted in the Slack channel:

"I am implementing IPv6 for my clients and want to add it as a shared network for allocation. However, Cloudstack doesn't seem happy with it. I have tried adding it via the GUI (/64s, which according to the documentation is the "smallest" supported) as well as via cloudmonkey and it tells me I have to have an advance networking zone,,,,, which I do.."
