   As of 2.1+ the compacter is enabled by default, but the documents still indicate it is disabled by default.

   Instead, it should indicate that the compacter is enabled by default.

   The text indicates the compacter is disabled by default.
   
   ## Possible Solution

   I have a PR to resolve this issue that I will submit right after I finish this.

   2. Read "disabled by default"
   3. Think about life, the universe, and everything. Make yourself a tea.
   4. Relax because the PR already handled it.

   Just guiding some folks through using the compaction daemon for automatic compacting.
