[Issue 126275] New: Crash on file open from OO_Impress

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126275

          Issue ID: 126275
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Crash on file open from OO_Impress
           Product: Impress
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows Vista
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P5
         Component: open-import
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: T.Groutsis@mpgv.gr

Impress crashes when opening a file.
Uploaded Evidence.Zip (http://www.filedropper.com/evidence) with two samples:
Crash.PPT and NoCrash.PPT
The only difference is that Crash.PPT has an additional slide - however Impress
can open a presentation with this slide alone.
Both files open from MS-PP successfully.
I am pretty sure, that the issue exists even with the Crash.PPT as an .ODS file

I was not able to reproduce.
I open Crash.ppt and run in slideshow mode: no crash.

The best way to avoid crash is to work in native format (ODP).
This document embeds many pictures.
You can reduce the filesize with Tools > Minimize Presentation.
