Flow auth: didn't make it

I've been trying to get a flow-ized version of the auth-fw working in 
time for today's release. But I've failed :-(

Anyway, I'm some way there, coding done, debugging remains. I'm 
relatively new to flowscript, so I'm slower than I could be (can't 
always work out what's going on). I'll commit it once I've got it working.
