Exploring Xerces Schema validation

Hello. I'm new to xerces 2.0 and I'm exploring some of the sample utilities such as DOMPrint and DOMCount (Win32 binaries).

I'm using the "personal-schema.xml" as my sample data. I'm trying to explore the utility behavior upon a schema validation error. I'm having no problem creating schema validation errors within XML spy by modify minOccur counts within the associated personal.xsd file.

However when I run DOMPrint or DOMCount with the (-s or -f or -v=always) command switches I'm unable to reproduce or create any schema validation error.

Can someone explain why this is so, or what is it that I'm doing incorrectly ?

Thanks

Please also turn on namespace, .e.g DOMPrint -n -s personal-schema.xml
