WebSVN and "double free or corruption" error

Trying to transfer WebSVN v2.0rc4 from a Redhat3 update 5 server to a
Redhat 4 update 5 server.
On the old server the response is reasonably instantaneous but on the
new server I get the error:
 
   *** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (out):
0x000000552b0e6570 ***
 
Note: I have several projects to browse but this error only happens on
my LARGE project.
Any ideas?
