As I mentioned in my original request, it was clarity I wanted to enhance, not
to save keystrokes.  If just once it saves me having to explain "why did you do
it this way?" it's worthwhile to me.  Of course, all those saved keystrokes will
come in handy when I rewrite my scripts after the next release ...
