Connection to Oracle without listener?

Is there a way to configure jdbc-connection-descriptor in
repository_database.xml in a way that it connects directly to a local
Oracle database (without using the oracle listener)?
I'm using OJB1.0.3, PB in Tomcat.

Thanks,
Frank

Sorry I don't know an answer. AFAIK the oracle-jdbc driver needs the
oracle-listener to access the database. I don't think this problem is
related to OJB, rather you need a jdbc-driver which bypass the oracle
listener (but that's anyone's guess).
