example spam mails

Hello list,

are there some example spam emails to check spamassassin 
confoguration?

I'am new to spamassassin (great job!!!) and want to learn about it.
I think it would be nice to have some spam emails to cheack how
spamassassin will tag the mails.

not necessarily. I have some addresses that never received any spam!
More surprising: one of these is used for many public mailing lists. so
either these mailing lists aren't targetted by harvesters or it's just
luck that won't last...

For now I am. I justed registered wlanhacking.de and I think
the next few weeks I will be spamed, too!

The spamassassin tarball comes with a sample-spam.txt which makes use of the
GTUBE string.

If you want to generate your own by emailing yourself, any message with the
GTUBE string in it should get tagged by SA:

http://spamassassin.apache.org/gtube/

(GTUBE is to SA what EICAR is to virus scanners. A weird string designed to use
as a test pattern to force a match on otherwise innocuous data)
