equniox and avalon

hi,

avalon is listed in the table of "alternative runtimes" under:

http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextech.cgi/~checkout~/equinox-home/alternateRuntimes/index.html

Though there is no documentation for avalon yet.
Perhaps we could distill a description and hand it in - but what avalon
runtime would be chosen? Merlin/Phoenix/Fortress - hmm,

Im also sorry that I can't participate more, but currently I am in a big
hurry - work and university exams and assignments - you know ...

(have played a bit with merlin lately (I like it)- and noticed that I
should get into maven;-) )
