HTTP Request sampler
I have a newbie question.
It appears that the the HTTP Request sampler does not retrieve embedded
resources by default. I presume this is the reason for the check box at the
bottom of the control panel, "Retrieve All Embedded Resources from HTML
Files," which is unchecked by default.
I want to retrive all resources in most of my scripts. Is there a way to
have this box checked by default, or a global property to set? I didn't see
anything obvious in the jmeter.properties file.
Regards,
Ron Miller

Sorry, no.
You could perhaps create the test plans using the default, and then do
a global replace on the attribute.
If you create two small simple test plans where the only difference is
the setting of the checkbox, it should be obvious what needs to be
changed...

Yes, that works!
I hadn't noticed the check box there. That's the global setting I am
looking for. Thanks for pointing it out.

Have you tried using the HTTP Request Defaults element under Config
Elements? I have not tried using that for this purpose, but it does
have
an option to 'Retrieve All Embedded Resources from HTML Files' option.
In
theory, this setting should propagate to all your HTTP requests.
Hope this helps,
