Can you please *REOPEN* this ticket. It is still not working for me.

cordova 4.3.0
ios platform 3.8.0

<preference name="Orientation" value="portrait" /> has no effect.

In general there are a lot of issues with config.xml settings. Some get applied, some not. Would be great if you could fix that. It is really a big problem if you loose config settings after every build!
