mimalloc and "--disable-diags" on master

Greetings,

2 Dumb questions ladies and gentlemen.   Anyone have any benchmarks 
working with the new allocator (mimalloc) vs tried and true jemalloc??   
Anyone working through the compile error when --disable-diags flag is 
added to the config on the master branch. I'll jump in if need be on the 
2nd.  Very curious (and apprehensive) about introducing Microsoft-based 
code into my stuff regarding the 1st.
