Spark 3.1 first RC date

I know that Spark 3.1 release is anticipated in December. Taking this into
account is there any planned date for the first Spark 3.1 RC cut? Is it
expected to be in October or maybe November?

The first RC is scheduled for early December .

Date  Event
Early Nov 2020  Code freeze. Release branch cut.
Mid Nov 2020    QA period. Focus on bug fixes, tests, stability and docs.
Generally, no new features merged.
Early Dec 2020  Release candidates (RC), voting, etc. until final release
passes
