[jira] [Created] (LIVY-488) Livy should log the effective path of
conf files
Tim Harsch created LIVY-488:
-------------------------------
Summary: Livy should log the effective path of conf files
Key: LIVY-488
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LIVY-488
Project: Livy
Issue Type: Improvement
Affects Versions: 0.5.0
Reporter: Tim Harsch
I have been having difficulty changing settings in livy-client.conf. It would be helpful if Livy were to log (at INFO or DEBUG) level where the effective paths of the config files are. The livy-client.conf.template file says:
> # Before a Livy Client is able to load these configurations the folder containing this file must be added to the application classpath
From that, I gather that the actual file loaded will be grabbed from the first folder in classpath where it appears (though in practice I haven't gotten that to work yet)
In any case, knowing definitivly which files are read would be very helpful.
