   I've seen the PR, I'm concerned about the changes in behavior of some oft-used classes and methods, certainly at a major NiFi release we can go to the latest Groovy, and perhaps we need to for tests/scripting when we go to Java 11, but I was a little apprehensive of raising the Groovy version until it was absolutely necessary. BTW it pains me to say that, I would personally always prefer we have the latest and greatest Groovy in NiFi.
