Re: ASP in Apache 2.0.32?
Pete,
I want ASP as bad as you!
I posted in the Chilisoft forums and this is the response I got from an
admin and a moderator:
Mods response:
"A search of the Knowledge Base produces:
http://www.chilisoft.com/kb/kb_display.asp?200204161"
Admin's response:
http://www.chilisoft.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=452
Apache 2.0 is being investigated for the next release end of the year.
ugh :(
Any other way I can get ASP to work on my webserver? I develop asp web
applications on a daily basis, and it just blows! I REALLY dont want to go
back to 1.3 after I just upgraded..
Thanx!

Re: Apache 1.3.24 Stop, Start, Restart Commands
Posted by Jay Turberville <ja...@studio522.com>.
One thing I noticed on my text box is that the Apache Service Monitor that
is installed with 2.0.35 also shows 1.3.24. I think I installed 2.0.35
first though, so I'm not at all sure that installing 2.0.35 after having
installed 1.3.24 will give the same results.
Anyway, I can select, start, stop and restart either version of Apache from
the Service monitor that also keeps a small icon on the taskbar.
It might be worth installing 2.0.35 in a totally separate directory simply
to get this Monitor up and working for you.
These are the shortcuts on my Start Menu for controlling 1.3.24
"C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache\Apache.exe" -w -n "Apache" -k restart
"
" start
"
" stop
You can create a shortcut with something like these in your Start Menu or on
your desktop.

Apache 1.3.24 Stop, Start, Restart Commands
Posted by Alex Togstad <sn...@3dretreat.com>.
Howdy;
When I had 1.3.24 installed I had all the shortcuts for stop, start, and
restart for apache on my desktop, but now for the life of me I cant remember
the right synatx for the short cuts and how to get them back. Currently I'm
just going into the service panel (Win2k) and stopping, starting, and
restarting apache from there(as a service).
I'm not looking for any command line sort of thing, just a short cut. . . .
Thanx!
