Before we go releasing, do one of use aix men want to take a quick look that this
isn't true of 1.3.19?  Perhaps give Shane a quick try at the new binary?

There's no binary up there yet, though :(  Since you like Aventail so much
maybe you wanna try?

Meanwhile, I say we throw Bill's machine off the roof.

Apparently, 1.3.17 was compiled with a non-updated version of
xlC. Making sure the 1.3.19 binary doesn't do the same is a good idea.
Let Shane have a shot at the new binary, I say.

Hummm..... Me thinks there's a balrog in the woodpile.  My machine SHOULD be
updated... And it is AIX 4.3.3.
