webstart and 1.5 beta5 problems

Hi All,
	I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my application which uses batik 1.5 beta 5 to run under webstart. I keep on getting the following error:

java.io.IOException: SAX2 driver class org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser not found

	at org.apache.batik.dom.util.SAXDocumentFactory.createDocument
	at org.apache.batik.dom.util.SAXDocumentFactory.createDocument
	at org.apache.batik.dom.svg.SAXSVGDocumentFactory.createDocument
	at org.apache.batik.dom.svg.SAXSVGDocumentFactory.createSVGDocument
	at org.apache.batik.bridge.DocumentLoader.loadDocument
	at org.apache.batik.swing.svg.SVGDocumentLoader.run

What's strange is that the xerces jar is most definitely specified in the <resources> portion of my JNLP file. Also, I did not have this problem with batik and webstart when I was using the beta4 release. Has anyone else run into this problem with the beta5 release?

-Shawn

Hello Shawn,

Since Batik 1.5 beta5, Batik uses Xerces by default. You'll need to
modify your .jnlp files to account for the Xerces jar file which we use
now instead of the Crimson jar file.

If you want to stick to Crimson, you need to set the Crimson parser
class (org.apache.crimson.parser.XMLReaderImpl) with
XMLResourceDescriptor.setXMLParserClassName:
