eblfisch.org: A Open-source runtime system for component-based implementation of automation solutions with Java
Hi all,
recently i came across plc4x which is an awesome project. It might be
interesting for you to check out http://www.elbfisch.org/ as well which
is an open source framework for implementation of complex modular
automation solutions.
It already incorporates the so called VIOSS (versatile I/O subsystem)
which implements connectivity to S7,Modbus,OPC/UA,ADS with URI based
addressing schemes which are similar to these of PLC4X.
Maybe we can cooperate, for example by integrating the PLC4X drivers
into Elbfisch to make the automation world a better place.

Dear Bernd,
I had a look on eblfish and associated sources. Sadly it is based on GNU
General Public License v3 which makes it impossible to use with Apache
projects. Such restriction do not apply if you would like to consume
Apache PLC4X in elbfish.
