Infrastructural stuff

Hi gang!

I seem to remember there were some bending issues, but can't seem to
find them. Could people please log 'em into jira?

cheers,

Any other takers on this one? I'd like to compare/contrast the new branch
build to the live build, to see how far I am from done & ready to merge.
Having it public would be helpful 'cos I could get more eyes on it.

regards

Thanks for the suggestion, and for all the help. I'll keep that option in
mind (I think I just tunnel visioned on what the real solution ought be.)

hey adam, you can do lots of things as a local user, like publish things
in ~/public_html. No need to wait for other people for testing stuff.
Anyways, working on it...

The proxy pass would be nice for http://brutus.apache.org/gump/public to the
http://brutus.apache.org:8080/gump. But that isn't my #1 (for moving ahead),
it is just cosmetic (see the HTML message in former).

For me, for testing the new branch, I really just need /gump/jdk15 (a lie,
it is still jdk 1.4, but with CleanUp branch) to come from
/usr/local/gump/jdk15/results (the log for that workspace).

There are two separate JIRA entries.

Thanks a bunch.

You just want a ProxyPass, correct? If so, as soon as I get home this
Friday, I can do it. I am currently having a problem where my laptop
(OS X) gets the ssh connection closed immediately from both
cvs.apache.org and brutus.apache.org. Works fine from my Windows
desktop at home, though.

On, now that I know that .... please remove the Gump stuff from your list,
and focus on health and time for you. I can live w/o this stuff (and work on
Depot for a while). Alternatively I'll keep bugging this list, and try to
persuade some other member to help me w/ the HTTPD config change.

Get well soon.

not for me. I just have a ton of TODO items, no time, bad health. Gump
stuff is on the list. Hope to get some of this done this week.

I hate to assign task to a certain individuals, and I don't think we can
have a sub-group to assign to, so I have to rely upon folks reading this
list (below). Hmm, I guess I could prefix the subject with [INFR] or
something, that help?

I know some of the tasks in there are non-trivial, but the main one I really
need I just updated, it is for the 'jdk15' flavour of Gump. Right now I am
trying to kill two birds with one stone, I am using the CleanUp branch on
that build. So -- even without a JDK1.5 install, could I get the HTTPD
configuration change? I just want me (and others) to be able to view the
results of the run, so we can see if that branch is adequate for a merge
into HEAD.

Pretty please..

Adam

I think they'll likely get added under here:

http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&mode=hide&pid=10457&sorter/order=DESC&sorter/field=priority&resolutionIds=-1&component=11040

I'll add more. I'll try to move some assigned to Sam to unassigned and under
here. [Sorry you are feeling sick.]
