          Issue ID: 126273
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Inverse symbol in trinomentry is missing
           Product: Math
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: All
                OS: All

         Component: ui
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: dalapathy@gmail.com

tan, sin, cos inverse symbol have been changed as arctan, arcsin, arccos.
Logically both are same. But UI and typing text is vary now

arcsin() is the inverse function to sin().
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcsin
There is also an explanation of the problems using an negative exponent.

But YES: A button for an inverse function should show what it produces.

If you prefer the other notation simply use sin^-1(x).

Windows 8 is my operating system

step 1: open document, click insert>object>formula
step 2: In Element Table, we select f(x)
Step 3: Click on All elements of 3rd Row
Step 4: We shown arcsin, arccos in .odt file instead of sin^-1, cos^-1
