[DISCUSS][3.0] STIP-41: Zeta Native Application Mode Technical Discussion
Hi Community,
The first implementation of STIP-41 was merged into dev on October 18.
SeaTunnel now supports job-level application deployment. The main changes
are a new `resource-managers` directory in the distribution and a new
`seatunnel-resource-managers/kubernetes` module. I'd like to set up a
technical discussion meeting on this.
Proposed date: Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 20:00–21:00 CST (UTC+8).

Proposed agenda:
1. Engine-side changes: which Engine modules were changed and how the
ResourceManagerDriver integration works.
2. Runtime responsibility boundary: what the Engine and ResourceManager
each own, e.g. scheduling, checkpointing, and worker registration vs.
platform resource creation, status, cancellation, and cleanup.

Hi Zhiwei,
Thanks for setting this up. I'm in California, so this meeting is at 5:00
AM Pacific, which is hard for me to attend live. But would have liked to
join this discussion.
Would it be possible to record the meeting or post a summary to this thread
or the STIP-41 issue afterward? Either would be very helpful for those of
us in US time zones.
If a later slot works for a follow-up session, I'd be glad to join live.
