[users@httpd] request failed: error reading the headers

Hi,
	I recently startup the apache 2.0.40 and when i did the testing 

telnet localhost 80

then 

HEAD / HTTP/1.0

the log file shows (request failed: error reading the headers)


does anyone have this problem that they can sahre the solution?..
