[jira] [Closed] (GROOVY-8665) keep consistent on namespace

Paul King closed GROOVY-8665.
-----------------------------
    Resolution: Not A Problem

Yes, in general new code is placed under org.apache.groovy. Legacy code remains under org.codehaus.groovy for backwards compatibility. Over time the codehaus package names will reduce.

> Still we have legacy code under org.codehaus.groovy. Meanwhile there are codes under org.apache.groovy. Any reason for this inconsistency?
