problems loading jars from web-inf\lib

hi, all

I'm tying to put to work Jetspeed 1.1 with tomcat from a war file and
thus i'm trying to isolate all the Jars needed be jetspeed in the
WEB-INF/lib directory of his context, but i'm sure that Tomcat isn't
loading some jars from WEB-INF/lib, 

Anybone has notice of this?

There are several messages stating the same thing in tomcat-user......
and don't say me that i can put this jars in the tomcat.bat classpath i
know this and is working , 

Any comments?

Hmm.. that's funny, because it always worked for me... I don't know about
the latest version however...

I'm running it under JDK 1.3 on Windows... haven't tried my Solaris box with
it yet.

I have never been able to get this feature to work.
