[jira] Commented: (TOMAHAWK-98) Tabs in panelTabbedPane are shown as buttons on IExplorer

Matthew Jones commented on TOMAHAWK-98:
---------------------------------------

I also have had this problem. I realized that it does not show when you are using client-side switching, but shows when you are using server-side switching. The button is only shown in IE, and only for the active tab (the inactive tabs render as usual).

This is quite an annoyance, as I want server-side switching and statefulness, but in looks horrible in IE.

Unlike Jan, I don't have a <f:form> wrapping my tabbed pane, but I assigned an ID to the tabbed pane (but not the tabs) and this did not resolve my problem.

> Hello,
> The tabs in panelTabbedPane are shown as buttons when using Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2 and the XP theme for the MyFaces 1.1.1 version.
> Tested with IE 6.0 without updates - same behaviour, tabs shown as buttons - more visible if the default XP theme is used.
> With Firefox tabs are fine (displayed as tabs).
> With version 1.0.9 of MyFaces and IE the tabs are also rendered fine so this seems to be a new feature/bug in MyFaces 1.1.1.
> The problem is reproducible with the "Tabbed Pane" example of Exadel Studio 3.0.4.
> Mail me for screenshots if needed.
> Thanks for having a look :)
