   I am doing this many times and I have never seen problems.
   We should inspect the data directory of a broker system and see what's wrong .
   
   We disable fsync by default on standalone and that maybe a cause of troubles .
   
   If you have a case please share a zip/tar with the contents of the data directory and the logs
