Besides this, there is a "vfs_cache" directory that gets created and never
cleaned up even upon a successful extraction of the .jar file.  I would think
this ought to be cleaned up upon successful completion of the task.  Either
that, or use an OS-defined temp directory rather than creating one specifically
for VFS.  Maybe this deserves separate bug status, but I'll leave it here as a
comment for now.
