When using the jobClient - split information is localized as a YARN local resource. Local mode currently doesn't handle LRs, thus leading to MRInput not being able to locate relevant splits.

It may be possible to fix this by just setting up some relevant configs, hence creating it as a separate jira (independent of the Local mode LR jira).
