Avalon Beginner's Guide
Greetings!
I've finally started to put an Avalon new users guide together. Beyond
a simple introduction to Avalon, it will mostly focus on a
Fortress-based tutorial. The beginnings can be found at:
http://www.jadetower.org/spire/projects/apache/avalon/
I'll be putting up the forrest source soon. I'll also be adding a lot
to it this weekend (I hope). I'd love _any_ feedback.
Also, I had once upon a time mentioned ideas about an Avalon 'compliant'
DAO Manager. Well, the code's not there yet, but the sourceforge
project is up at http://jingdao.sourceforge.net . I'll be submitting
code to that project this weekend as well.
Thanks!

The introductory chapters are fine, but the "meat" ain't there - I would
be interested to see the Fortress tutorial going up, even if it is not
finished 100%.

looks promising. Well-written, understandable. Only thing missing is
more of the same :D
I would have a look at the merlin tutorials Steve's been writing for
inspiration or cloning as well.

There is a bunch of tutorial content on Merlin at the following link
that you may find useful. It mainly about using Merlin with classic
Avalon components.

Some more advanced stuff is available under:

Cheers, Steve.
