IIUC maven 2.1.0 is rather broken, the 2.1.4 build may also work with  
maven 2.2.1 and 3.0.x rc's.  However we should definitely warn against  
at least 2.1.0.

geronimo 2.2 certainly builds with maven 2.2.1.
