How to build Servicemix http component from the source
I would like to know or be pointed to a documentation that would help me
understand how to build servicemix components from source. I've downloaded
the source and configured it to show in eclipse. Is there any documentation
or tutorials for me to follow.
Thanks in advance,
Arshad

I'm new to this, so please forgive the number of questions I'm asking.
However, when I try to run
'mvn install', it is looking for component-parent pom file. I was thinking
of downloading the pom file, but not sure, where to keep it and so on.
Following is the details for mvn install error:
mvn -e install

It should be:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/components/bindings/servicemix-
http/trunk/
(note the s in bindings)

Thanks for the reply. I tired that, but it says that the url does not exist.
I even tried replacing http with https, I thought would be the case.
However, it says the same thing for both. Any ideas why?

Hi Arshad,
simply co the component:
svn co
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/components/binding/servicemix-http/trunk
servicemix-http
and make mvn install:
mvn install
The required version of maven is 2.2.1 and JDK 1.5.x.

JB
