[jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-4404) Remove all use of hostname aliases in scripts (only use FQDN)

Josh Elser created ACCUMULO-4404:
------------------------------------

Summary: Remove all use of hostname aliases in scripts (only use FQDN)
                 Key: ACCUMULO-4404
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-4404
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: scripts
            Reporter: Josh Elser
             Fix For: 1.9.0

All of our scripts are extremely goofy to reason about WRT what we "call" a server because we try to be so accommodating to bad DNS setups.

We should only use the FQDN everywhere and get rid of all the guessing at how users have misconfigured their system.

This also has the added benefit of making the transition for users to Kerberos security less painful (as that is, IMO, the #1 cause of problems).
