This activity begins with a question: Regarding fields created and modified by pipelines and workflows, is there a variable that could be used to retrieve and indicate their values? Or even retrieve them from Git? This would facilitate auditing or even allow for immediate identification of the last person who made the change, in order to discuss the workflow with them.

The `created` and `modified` fields in workflows and pipelines aren't really used for anything. They've been there since forever, so I don't think we can or will even consider removing them. If you manage your projects in git, the version history in your repository will be much more valuable than those 2 dates.
