the 1.3 release has not been declared.
What are the latest schedules ?
Are we waiting on any bugs to be fixed?

Hi Samisa,

I took a fresh checkout again & tried.
It worked as per your details.

Thanks a lot,

Hi Nithya,
    Thank you for testing this.
Run the server as :
 ./simple_axis_server 9090
And can test with $AXISCPP_DEPLOY/bin/run_interoptests.sh as:
./run_interoptests.sh -p9090

My tests so far on Linux revealed no problems. If this could be tested on Windows, that would be
great.

Also we may have to do some docs on this.
Thanks,
Samisa...

Re: 1.3 release

Hi Samisa,

I am in the process of testing Simple Axis server in Linux,
Can you please give me the details of how to test it.

I just got the cvs checkout updated & builded it. It successfully builds.
Then I tried to run Simple axis server from src/server/simple_axis_server/
as

./simple_axis_server localhost 9090

it says

Problem occured.

Re: 1.3 release

We have not closed out AXISCPP-89 and AXISCPP-103. However, we have gone well beyond the sizes
mentioned in those issues. So can we call them close?

Apart from that, I do not see any other issues that we need to fix before 1.3 final.

Thinking of winning users, I have taken some time and fixed simple axis server as well (works on
Linux - need to test on Windows)

Good stuff!!!

So we freeze it by EOD Wednesday (that is Thursday morning) and release by EOD Friday (22nd OCT)?

Please make sure to test for http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/browse/AXISCPP-110 once the packaging
is done, before the release notice is made (I could also help with this)

Thanks,
Samisa...

Yes I'm doing this for 1.3. When building the source there are lot of
warnings appearing. I think we can eliminate most of them with little
effort. Removing most of them is trivial. Once this done I suggest making
a code freeze in two days for two days?

Thanks Damitha -

And when that's done is that it for 1.3? How long to code freeze after
this? Are there any more bugs were trying to fix?
