[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-8026) Enable Nexus Access for Flink
(incubator)

Robert Metzger commented on INFRA-8026:
---------------------------------------
Thank you for setting it up!
Is there a best practice / recommended way at Apache to do automatic SNAPSHOT deployments?
Before we moved our project to the ASF, we had an account at https://oss.sonatype.org/. On each successful build with TravisCI, we deployed a new SNAPSHOT version to their servers. In order to do that, I had to store my (encrypted) password in a file that is in the git repository.
I have a bad feeling storing my (encrypted) Apache ID in a public git repository.
Is there an elegant way how we can solve this?
The only idea I have right now is to create a special account just for the SNAPSHOT deployments.
