The http://druid.io/docs/0.12.1/design/index.html has a basic data set and an explanation on its sharding
Seems there is an error in the sharding example
   1. The KPI column - in the data set there are two KPI column, in the resulting sharding there seems to be three. No explanation is given
   2. The data set has four rows in the range of 01-02 and two rows in the range of 02-03. Alas the sharding results for 01-02 show only two rows with no explanation given as if they other rows do not belong to any shard
