log4j and junit?! need setup help!

hello,

i want to use log4j in combination with junit!

inside the test class only the main is able to log!
inside a test method i receive the message that 
"No  appenders could be found for category (XyTest)"

how do i initialize the system properly?

or do i need to init log4j in ever junit test method?!:-((
