Re: svn commit: r569154 - /openjpa/trunk/board/2007-08.txt

Hi,

It seems like the board report directory should be in the dir above trunk, no?

Currently, we have a copy in trunk and in the 1.0.0 branch.

Re: svn commit: r569154 - /openjpa/trunk/board/2007-08.txt

I took a look at some other apache projects. Httpd, derby and openejb keep a
single status file in trunk. I haven't found another project which keeps
archives, but that might just be from lack of looking.

As a compromise I'd suggest putting a status file in trunk where everyone
will have access to it, and keeping archives (if we want to do so) somewhere
else ie board instead of trunk/board.

I like the idea of having the file available "automatically" when we
checkout trunk. I'm ambivalent regarding keeping archives of previous
reports.

I just put it there so everyone would get it without thinking about
it. If it's at the same level as trunk, you have to check it out
explicitly.

Maybe it doesn't matter.
