[Bug 3615] New: SPF_(PASS|FAIL|SOFTFAIL) rule doesn't hit when it should

http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3615

Summary: SPF_(PASS|FAIL|SOFTFAIL) rule doesn't hit when it should
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: Rules
        AssignedTo: spamassassin-dev@incubator.apache.org
        ReportedBy: spamassassin@de-korte.org

I have SpamAssassin 3.0.0-pre2 running in spamc/spamd configuration. What
surprises me, is that only the SPF_HELO_(PASS|FAIL|SOFTFAIL) rules ever hit (for
domains supplying an SPF TXT record), but the SPF_(PASS|FAIL|SOFTFAIL) never hits.

Presently all connecting mail clients are checked for SPF and quite a few are
tested as "pass", "softfail" and "fail", so I had expected that at least
SpamAssassin would pick these up too (except for "fail", since this is dropped
by the MTA).

I guess there is something in the Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::SPF plugin which
causes this, but unfortunately I'm not that fluent in Perl to find it myself (I
did try, but failed to find it).
