I found out, that this issue is a dublicate of the (already confirmed) Issue
126788 reported by the same person.
As the other report contains more information about the problem, I recommend to
close this one and to transfer relevant information from here to the new issue.

I was unable to replicate this issue. I tried to replicate on the following
configurations:
OS: OS X El Capitan
OO Version: 4.1.2
OS: Windows 10
OO Version: 4.1.1
Below are the steps I performed:
1) Open a template in OO Writer
2) Copy the attached spreadsheet data (Using either keyboard short cuts or
mouse) from OO Calc
3) Paste the data into the OO Writer template.
The template that I used is attached an contained some text, a table (3 x 4)
and a picture. When I pasted the data I pasted it into the text area, the table
and the picture.
When the data is pasted the data is pasted in one chunk whose size can be
changed and the entire block can be moved around.
This issue could be a problem for users as when the user pastes they may expect
the cells copied from the spreadsheet to map into the table cells. Also they
may expect whenever spreadsheet data is pasted it should be pasted with cells
rather than in one chunk.
