Not reproduce, OpenOffice is installed with no problem under 32-bit system
because it's a 32-bit program.

Where are you downloaded it?
Did you check MD5 sum for this package?

Please report back the outcome of your testing, so this Issue may be closed or
progressed as necessary - otherwise the issue may be Resolved as Invalid in the
future.
