web page on tuning server performance
I've started a page on the apache server devoted to information about
tuning a particular OS/hardware for high-traffic web serving. The only
entry I have there right now is the recent info about Solaris that has
gone by, but eventually I or Cliff will add info about BSDI, and someone
at Wired can probably add info about SGI's. It's at
http://www.apache.org/docs/perf
Is there any other resource out there like this that we can point to
instead of maintaining our own? It's group writeable so feel free to add
any info you might have.
Also, it might be lucrative to post this to c.i.w.servers.unix or
something.
Brian
