[jira] [Created] (INFRA-10750) mod_sed to deal with privacy issue
in push_logs
Joe Schaefer created INFRA-10750:
------------------------------------
Summary: mod_sed to deal with privacy issue in push_logs
Key: INFRA-10750
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-10750
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Git
Reporter: Joe Schaefer
There is a valid concern about publishing IP addresses of our committers via the push logs. The simplest solution is to strip the IP information out of the page delivery. [~ipv6guru] points out that Bill Wrowe may have already provided the necessary recipe for this on site-dev@.
