[PR] chore: release 3.18.0 [apisix-docker]
shreemaan-abhishek opened a new pull request, #631:
URL: https://github.com/apache/apisix-docker/pull/631
Bump APISIX version from 3.17.0 to 3.18.0 across Dockerfiles, Makefile, example compose files, CI workflows, and docs.
https://github.com/apache/apisix/blob/release/3.18/CHANGELOG.md#3180
The `apisix=3.18.0-0` packages are already published for every distro the images install from, so the builds should not hit the usual publish lag: debian12 and ubuntu noble list `3.18.0-0` in their `Packages` indexes, and the redhat 9 repo metadata contains `apisix-3.18.0-0`.
No Dockerfile package changes are needed for this release. Comparing the rockspec between the 3.17.0 and 3.18.0 tags, the dependency delta (`lua-resty-openidc` 1.9.0, `lua-resty-ldap` 0.3.1, `lua-resty-redis-cluster` 1.3.3, `nginx-lua-prometheus-api7` 1.0.0, `api7-lua-rapidjson`, `nanoid` dropped) adds no rock that links a new system shared library, unlike `lua-resty-saml` in 3.17.0 which needed `libxml2`/`libxslt`.
