[jira] Created: (XERCESC-1539) Line-separator character should default to an appropriate value for the current machine
Line-separator character should default to an appropriate value for the current machine
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: XERCESC-1539
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XERCESC-1539
Project: Xerces-C++
Type: Bug
Components: DOM
Versions: 2.6.0
Environment: Windows / Mac
Reporter: Steve Benz
Priority: Minor
The current default behavior always uses linefeeds as the default line separator, but on WIndows and Mac boxes, this isn't appropriate. You can work around the problem by using DOMWriter::setNewLine, but you shouldn't have to.
